How can the school make toilets more accessible for students with disabilities?
Parents often report that although the school has barrier-free toilets, there are still not enough toilets for students with disabilities who need to change clothes.Although there are barrier-free toilets in the school, it may not be convenient enough for adolescent female students with disabilities. When their menstrual period comes every month, there is no way to change them easily. If there is an additional platform, it can be moved easily. Easier to take off and change clothes.
Assistants who assist special education students often use two desks and chairs or an ordinary desk as a platform for changing diapers. The height of the desk is often higher than that of a wheelchair, and it takes some effort to move the student to the desk.
